Our Impact
Since our founding in 2024, Little Horizons has been making a meaningful difference in the lives of pediatric patients and their families through dedicated programs and community support.
Making a Difference
Our growing impact reflects the dedication of our volunteers and the support of our community.
Featured Projects & Initiatives
Highlighting some of our most impactful programs and the difference they've made.

During the 2024 holiday season, our team organized a comprehensive toy drive that collected over 300 toys for children in local pediatric wards. The event brought together volunteers from multiple schools and community organizations.

Our ongoing arts program provides weekly creative activities for pediatric patients, including painting, drawing, and craft projects. These sessions offer therapeutic benefits and help children express themselves during treatment.

Our newest initiative pairs trained volunteers with pediatric patients for personalized reading sessions. These intimate moments provide comfort, distraction, and human connection during hospital stays.

We've established meaningful partnerships with premier medical institutions like North Shore University Hospital, working directly with pediatric departments to understand their needs and deliver targeted support programs.
Stories of Hope
The real measure of our impact lies in the smiles we've brought and the connections we've made.
"The Little Horizons volunteers have become a bright spot in our pediatric ward. The children look forward to their visits, and we've seen how much joy and comfort these young volunteers bring to our patients during difficult times."
Dr. Sarah Martinez
Pediatric Department Head
"When my daughter was hospitalized for several weeks, the Little Horizons volunteers made such a difference. They brought art supplies, read stories, and most importantly, they brought smiles during a very scary time for our family."
