About Little Horizons

Founded in 2024 by passionate high school students from Great Neck, New York, Little Horizons emerged from a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves moments of joy, especially during challenging times.

Our Story

Little Horizons was born from the hearts of dedicated high school students who recognized the profound impact that small acts of kindness can have on children facing medical challenges. What started as a local initiative has grown into a meaningful movement.

Our founders understood that hospitalization can be a frightening and isolating experience for young patients. They envisioned an organization that could bridge the gap between the medical world and the world of childhood wonder, bringing smiles, comfort, and hope to pediatric wards.

Since our founding, we've partnered with local pediatric centers and hospitals, creating programs that not only entertain but also provide emotional support and human connection during difficult times.
